Call for abstracts

Abstract Submission Period

July 25 (Thu), 2024 – September 30 (Mon), 2024

  • If your general abstract is accepted, the first author (presenter) must register for the conference.

Abstract Submission Method

  • Abstract submission is only available online via the internet.
  • The button to proceed to the abstract submission screen is located at the bottom of this page.

Presentation Format

  • The presentation formats for abstracts are oral presentations and poster presentations.
  • Presentation Language: All presentations will be in English.
  • Presentation Time: Total of 10 minutes (Presentation: 7 Mins / Q & A: 3 Mins)
  • The organizers will make the final decision regarding acceptance, presentation format, and presentation time.

Eligibility

Only members of the Taiwan Neonatology Society, the Korean Neonatal Society, and the Japan Society for Neonatal Health and Development are eligible to apply.

Guidelines for Creating Titles and Abstracts

1)Maximum Number of Authors and Institutions

  • Number of authors: Up to 15 authors, including the first author and co-authors
  • Number of institutions: Up to 15 institutions

2)Character Limits

TitleEnglish – up to 228 characters
Abstract textEnglish – up to 1,584 characters

3)Creating the Abstract Text

  • It is recommended to first create the abstract text on your own computer (in text format) and then use the copy and paste function to insert it into the designated abstract field.
  • Please download the abstract submission form below.
  • Photographs and figures cannot be used within the abstract text.

4)Registration email reception settings

  • Please set up your email in advance so that you can receive emails from “68jsnhd@gmail.com” .
  • If you use free email addresses other than Gmail (Yahoo, etc.) or mobile carrier addresses (docomo, Softbank, au), the automatic reply email may not be delivered due to spam filter settings, etc. Please check your spam filter settings in advance , or use an email address other than the above as much as possible.

5)Modifying and Deleting the Abstract

  • You may modify your abstract title during the abstract submission period.
  • To edit your presentation title, you will need the “Edit your answer” URL provided on the screen displayed when you registered your presentation title or in the automatic reply email, as well as the email address and password you provided when you registered.
  • Please upload the revised abstract after the initial upload to update your abstract.
  • If you do not know the URL for editing your answer, please contact the management office.
  • Submitted abstracts will be published as is, without any proofreading. Please ensure accuracy and completeness at your own responsibility, including the title, abstract text, and co-author names.
  • After the registration deadline, no changes to the abstract or additions/changes to the co-authors will be allowed.

6)Confirmation of receipt of abstract

  • Once your abstract registration is complete, you will automatically receive an email notifying you that your submission has been completed.
  • If you have not received the email within an hour of registering, please check your spam or trash folder . If you cannot find it, search your entire inbox for “68jsnhd@gmail.com”. If the problem persists, please contact the management office.

Abstract Acceptance

  • The acceptance or rejection of general abstracts and the presentation date will be at the discretion of the organizers.
  • While we will respect your preferred presentation format as much as possible, please note that it may differ from your preference.
  • Notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of your abstract and the presentation date will be sent to the email address registered at the time of abstract submission. Additionally, detailed program information will be announced on our website, so please check it.
